Supporting the next generation of nuclear professionals is essential to building a sustainable, innovative and inclusive future for the nuclear sector. Creating opportunities for young professionals to develop their skills, expand their networks and learn from one another is an important part of this effort.

With this in mind, WiN IAEA members came together with the United Nations Nuclear Young Generation (UN-NYG) to organize a “Practise Networking” workshop, designed to help participants explore the power of networking and how it can support their professional growth.

The interactive workshop provided participants with an opportunity to develop their networking skills, exchange experiences and reflect on how professional networks and connections can contribute to their careers. By creating a space for young professionals to connect with colleagues from different backgrounds and areas of expertise, the workshop also highlighted the importance of building strong and supportive communities within the nuclear sector.

A big thank you to our members and workshop facilitators for sharing their expertise and putting together this valuable session. We would also like to thank the organizing committee for making the event and reception possible, and to our Executive Committee member Anabel Kummer for producing the video that captured the spirit of the event.

We look forward to many more opportunities to shape the future of our sector together.
