Our biggest networking event took place on the evening of 18 September when the Mexican Ambassador HE Alicia Buenrostro Massieu and co-chair of the Group of Friends for Women in Nuclear hosted a cocktail reception at her residence in Vienna’s 1st district. Her kind hospitality made the evening most enjoyable.

Some 90 guests attended the event and — during lively encounters lubricated by drinks and delicious guacamole — we were greeted by Ambassador Alicia Buenrostro Massieu, followed by short addresses by Marta Žiaková (candidate for the position of Director General of the IAEA), Gabrielle Voigt (WiN Global President) and Naida Dzigal (WiN IAEA President). We hope that everyone made many new connections, both professional and personal.
